Ok, so you have your phrases, you have everything in your mind you want to say, and like Sophia, your heart is there, but do you have your materials?
Let's check!
- First, it may be good to have your bag, right? Because I mean where are you going to put your things
- Good News in your bag, in Korean and English, don't want to walk up to the door and realize your householder isn't even Korean, you have to be ready!
- Tracts are good to leave if you know for sure, they're Korean
- Post-it notes, or any piece of paper to write anything down
- Pen
- And I would have your Bible in your bag ready to use
Ok, the list looks good, but you're probably wondering, where's the watchtower?
Well, after working with Rebecca and Wally, we've learned that the Watchtower is actually well known throughout the Korean community. Specifically, in the churches, and because of that, the Koreans will not take a Watchtower or Awake.
So, tracts and Good News Brochures are perfect, because not only do they not have the big titles, but, they also have some good topics.

On the back of the Good News Brochures, there are 14 topics, and one that Rebecca used and received wonderful feedback on was number 8 entitled, "Why does God allow evil and suffering?"
Why do you think question number 8 is such a good topic? Let me know in the comments.
One thing I've noticed if you walk up to the door all dressed nicely with something in the shape of a piece of paper in your hand, what do you look like? Your either selling something, or your there for governmental reasons. Sometimes they may not recognize the grey Bible, so I like to approach the door with empty hands and a smile. Start off with your greeting in Korean if they are Korean and then pull out your brochure asking the question.
Like any other person, they are hesitant and straightforward.
This is the last thing, I promise, always remember that when you say hello or goodbye to bow.... from your hips, not your head. I'm not too sure why, and when I figure out why, I'll you know, but it is respectful on your part.

I hope that helped! Those are things I've learned from Rebecca and Wally and from my grandmother, thank for reading!
